Country artist Hannah Bethel grew up listening to country music and classic rock in the backwoods of Michigan. She fell in love with songwriting at age fourteen and began honing her craft and performing through out the Upper Midwest. At eighteen she moved to Nashville to make her dreams a reality. Hannah delved even deeper into the art of writing and began performing her own material in and around Nashville.
Hannah released her first EP, a self-produced project called, “No Stopping Standing Parking”, in 2010. It received rave reviews from the Nashville songwriting community. Soon after the release, she was personally selected to attend the prestigious Horse & Writer Songwriting Invitational by one of Nashville’s most respected and successful songwriters, Skip Ewing.
In 2011, Hannah was a contestant on the reality television show, The X Factor. Her goal was to show America her unique version of country music, which is infused with organic, pop/soul sensibilities. The results were evident when her fan base exploded and has continued to grow since.
Hannah has several song cuts on the debut album of up and coming country artist, Rachele Lynae. Rachele is the flagship artist of Momentum Label Group, started by country star, Jamie O’Neal. Rachele’s first single, “Party ‘til the Cows Come Home” has been featured on GAC (Great American Country).
Hannah’s new single “No Where Left To Roam”, from her forthcoming project called, “The Freedom EP”, was released digitally on all major online stores, including iTunes and Amazon, on May 22, 2012. The music video will be released worldwide in June 2012. “The Freedom EP” includes five original tracks and is scheduled to release in Summer 2012.
